Audi may be bringing a new A6 E-tron Sportback concept to the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013, complete with all new shooting-brake styling.
The A6 E-Tron is expected to vary from past Audi designs, with a new form that is taller than the current A6, as well as longer. The car is expected to have a shooting brake design that resembles the Porsche Panamera, more than the other sportback in Audi’s lineup, the A7. The front end and overall design of the car is still a mystery, but it is rumored to be the first Audi with the brand’s new design language.
Expected under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI four-cylinder engine borrowed from the S3, along with an electric motor. Together, the A6 E-Tron’s engines will put out around 400 hp, and send power to all four wheels. Combined, the A6 E-tron is rumored to get around 94 mpg, and an all-electric driving range of between 50 and 60 miles.
